Dear editor, Congratulations to the town of Jasper for shutting down the notorious Monika Schaefer once again. Her repellent views are a painful anomaly in a multi-dimensional community that believes in tolerance, equality, justice, and truth.

Last week’s Fitzhugh was hard to read. It was at once hopeful and heartbreaking. I was encouraged to see Parks Canada cracking the door on openness with the public about the serious issues facing this park.
