The Jasper Seniors Society started in July of 1976 when federal funding was given to assist seniors’ groups to get started all over Canada. New Horizons was the name given for this impetus.

The Seniors Lodge Program is Alberta’s oldest affordable housing program for seniors and supports 10,850 lodge units in 149 lodges across the province.
