This will help support our local journalism as local businesses are often unable to afford advertising due to their own economic challenges.
Our paper has always been a free product and will continue to be free. Donations are a means for those who can afford to support local media to help ensure those who can’t afford to can get access to trusted local information.
You can make a one-time, monthly or a yearly donation of any amount and cancel at any time.
Q: Why should I support The Fitzhugh?
A healthy local news business model has multiple revenue streams, supported by both advertisers and readers.
Reader support for our local news outlets is an essential piece to allowing us to continue providing quality journalism to our communities.
Contributing to support local journalism helps fund a professional staff of local journalists who focus on sharing the stories that matter most to our communities.
Q: I already get your content for free, so why would I pay?
