The temporary interruption will last from 9 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 19) to 7 a.m. Friday (Sept. 20).

According to RCMP, a pedestrian was jogging on the roadside in the oncoming lane when a Dodge Dakota hit them. The vehicle then sped off and was last seen driving east on Switzer Drive.

The temporary disruption will be from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Monday (Sept. 9), Tuesday (Sept. 10) and Wednesday (Sept. 11).

The $14-million project is expected to be completed in January 2025, although it will take another month afterward before the lodge can house residents.

While council has not yet set the price of the new utility rates, the new utility bills are estimated to be about $150 per month.

The crisis team consists of an AHS psychiatric nurse who will work with a dedicated RCMP officer specializing in mental health, in addition to providing expertise and knowledge to other members of regional detachments.

HINTON, Alta. — It's been hard to find a hotel room in Hinton, Alta., lately.

The centre has been set up in a field adjacent to the Hinton Curling Club (837 Switzer Drive) and will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. MT.

Motorists will not be allowed to stop or exit off Highway 16 while travelling through Jasper National Park. There will be no washrooms or refuelling options, and motorists must obey all posted speed limits and signage.
