Parks installs new Fifth Bridge

R. Fletcher photo Access to Maligne Canyon will soon be significantly improved, as Parks Canada installs a permanent Fifth Bridge, spanning the Maligne River. The former bridge was damaged following persistently high waters during the summer of 2012.

Following a dramatic drumroll, Sept. 24, the Jasper Pride Festival Society announced the theme for its 2015 festival. Instead of drag queens, next year’s event will feature ice queens, as the theme of the sixth annual event is “Wicked White Winter”.
