Housing is an age old issue in Jasper.

It’s no secret that Jasper’s caribou are in dire straits.

Dear Editor, I know Jasper, and Canada as a whole, need the temporary foreign worker program. That fact is undebatable.

Jasper is often marketed as a place to unplug—a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and to reconnect with nature. It’s sold as a place to get back to basic.

Dear Editor, I read your article about development in Jasper (“Home improvement a complicated process”) and felt it was disingenuous.

Dear Editor, I am confused as to why there is such a difficulty for council in allowing the rodeo to continue its 37-year-old tradition of having the indoor arena as a venue. It can’t be the cost.

The temporary foreign worker program is flawed. There’s just no denying it. People, Canadian and otherwise, are being abused.

Although an outdoor rodeo would be ideal, and it could quickly solve all of the issues surrounding the use of the Jasper Arena, it seems unlikely that one will occur this summer.

Dear Editor, We would like to add our voices to those who have expressed concern over the proposed building of a resort at Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park.

Dear Editor, It was interesting to note the expressions on our councillors’ faces at the last council meeting when the CAO was giving them a litany of new mistakes found in the “Nightmare on Robson Street” that we will some day call our library.
