Dear Editor, I would just like to comment on the controversy surrounding the appointment of a person to the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Municipality without having a recognized accounting designation.

Dear Editor, We have been visiting Jasper National Park every year for the last 10 years; it is truly one of our very favourite places on earth.

This summer Jasper’s streets were more energetic than ever, with sidewalk cafes bringing a new life to the downtown core.

As the coordinator of the Jasper Victim Services Unit, Paul Schmidt sees a side of Jasper that most residents will never be exposed to. His job is to attend the scene of tragic accidents and crimes and to console the victims, whoever they might be.
