A clinic near Jasper is increasing hours to help accommodate rise in demand

The Alberta Government is hosting a "Telephone Online" town hall for Albertans who have been evacuated to receive answers to any questions tonight.

"Crews are now bringing power back on and looking to prepare the community for a staged re-entry, although there are no firm timelines for when that occurs."

The situation in Jasper is markedly different than it was during High River's flooding, according to an RCMP spokesperson.

Every radio station in Alberta is participating in Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper on July 31 to support those displaced by devastating wildfires in Jasper and Little Red River Cree Nation Wildfires through the Red Cross.
