Jasper Elementary School students shared a meal together in the annual Réveillon potluck lunch, Dec. 13. Réveillon is a French Canadian feast held during the holiday season.

Results from the Christmas bird count are in, and organizer Gord Ruddy said this year they’re especially impressive.

Tradition continues: community dinners return Jan. 5

For more than a decade, Jasperites both new and seasoned have shared Sunday dinners together at the Jasper Activity Centre. It’s a tradition that formed out of a need and that stuck because of the joy it creates each winter season.

Regional airport back on the runway

Tourism Jasper is asking council to continue its support for a commercial airport in Edson, in order to increase tourism to the northern Rockies.
