Avoid tempting bears to feed from Jasper fruit trees this fall

Parks Canada and the Municipality of Jasper have eliminated many bear attractants from the townsite, but fruit trees are still bringing in bears, like this one pictured in 2019.

Cleaning up shorelines in Jasper National Park

There are some local lakes with a notable number of boats that shouldn't be there, said Steve Young, Jasper National Park spokesman. Parks Canada will be tagging unlicensed boats in the area over the next couple of weeks.
