Parks Canada is warning of potential closures on Icefields Parkway and Maligne Lake Road between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening due to spring avalanche conditions.

Avalanche control gatebreakers might get more than the cold shoulder if they are intercepted by law enforcement officers in a closed area. They also put themselves at great risk since a lot of explosives were being used on the Parkway at the time.
