No injuries or fires were reported after 22 railcars derailed south of Brule in Yellowhead County on Dec. 17.
One car containing gasoline spilled some of its contents, but the product was contained to CN property and did not enter the adjacent waterway.
No other dangerous goods were found to have leaked either.
There was no danger to the public, and the incident did not affect the residences of Brule.
CN was in charge of the scene and worked closely with local emergency management officials.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
