UPDATE: James Brertton has been located safe.
On July 15, Jasper RCMP received a report from a family member that 51-year-old James Brertton, of Saddle Lake First Nations, has not been in touch with family and his whereabouts are unknown.
Jasper RCMP’s investigation indicates James was last seen in the town of Jasper on July 13 at approximately 8 p.m. The Jasper RCMP would like to speak to James to confirm his wellbeing.
James Brertton, 51, is described as:
- 5’7” tall
- 150 lbs
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Indigenous
