DENVER (AP) — Devon Toews scored 4:23 into overtime after Artturi Lehkonen tied the game late in regulation, and the Colorado Avalanche began a five-game homestand with a 3-2 win over the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.

WINNIPEG — Kyle Connor was glad he and the Winnipeg Jets got some puck luck on Tuesday. Connor scored a natural hat trick in the first period to spark the Jets to a 6-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Radek Faksa scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period, and the St. Louis Blues beat the Calgary Flames 2-1 on Tuesday night. Faksa tipped in a shot by Tyler Tucker with 8:49 left.
