Hinton RCMP are starting an education initiative by providing monthly tips to residents in the hopes to assist in overall crime reduction within the community. “Recording Your Property” is the Crime Prevention Tip of the Month.

On July 14, 2022, at 10:10 p.m., Hinton RCMP received reports of a possible break and enter to a residence on Maskuta Drive at the Hardisty Creek Village. Police attended and located two individuals inside the residence.

Dear Editor: Policing is one of the most important things the Town of Hinton does, for two reasons. First, protecting citizens from crime is a very basic function of government.

A family medicine physician with enhanced anesthesia skills will be joining the Hinton Medical Clinic on July 1. Dr. Evan Johnson will increase access to surgery and family medical care for residents of Hinton and area.

Peter Shokeir | [email protected] A residential fire has resulted in the death of one male at an apartment complex in Hinton. In the early hours of April 4, Hinton Fire Department was called to a fire at 137 Timber Lane Eagles Nest Apartments.
