The Jasper Men’s Shed currently has 13 members and hopes the grand opening will help add names to the membership list while showing the community what they are about.

The staff and executives of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #31 were recognized for helping feed thousands of Jasper evacuees as well as first responders following the 2024 wildfire when residents were re-entering the townsite.

"The Alberta Blue Cross will be in town on Saturday (April 12) and would like to donate a limited amount of Easter hampers to seniors in the community."

The Red Cross has been active in Jasper since the wildfire broke out last summer.

For every campaign featured burger purchased, Canada Beef will donate the equivalent of one meal to Food Banks Canada.

Mayor Richard Ireland presented special awards to two residents for their contributions to Jasper at the Community Holiday Party on Dec. 16.

Christmas break hockey camp has been a tradition here in Jasper for as long as I can remember. That was until COVID-19 came along and hit pause for a few seasons.
