Representatives from charities across Jasper headed to Super A Foods, Feb. 21, to receive a donation to their causes. Every month, Super A donates $1,000 to local charities, divided up based on a point system.

The Jasper Arena came out of its temporary hibernation this week, with a fresh coat of paint and a rental Zamboni. While it’s been sleeping, Jasper’s hockey teams have been wide awake, playing home games on the road thanks to our Hinton neighbours.

Medals for local skiers

Seven members of the Jasper Freeride Freestyle Ski Team competed in the Alberta Winter Games earlier this month and two skied away with medals. In the slopestyle competition, Caitlin McInnis won bronze, while Alex Krushell won bronze in the moguls.
