The Platform is a forum for Jasperites to tell us what they think the issues are leading up to the Oct. 21 municipal election. The idea is to create a dialogue in town and to get people thinking critically about who should take the seven council seats for the next four years. We invite all community members, young and old, to submit 200-250 word articles related to pertinent election issues from now until election day.
Just like with a letter to the editor, we ask that you include your full name and phone number, for verification purposes. We also reserve the right to edit submissions for libel, length, content and style.
