Who does not like a good Scooby-Doo movie?
Scoob! is the thirty fourth animated film in the Scooby-Doo direct to video franchise. The first one was in 1998 and there is one to be released in October. The title is Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! which seems appropriate for that time of year.
It seems viewers cannot get enough of the crazy hijinks of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo. I have always liked a good mystery and Scooby-Doo movies never leave me disappointed. I know the plot always has a million holes, but that is part of the fun of each movie. Family entertainment made to scare the kids while the adults sit back and enjoy the comedy is part of the formula that makes it all work.
Scoob! is a reboot of the Scooby-Doo films and I would say they did a good job. The movie provided a little back history about how Shaggy met Scooby-Doo and how Mystery Inc. was formed. Those two questions have been on my mind since I was introduced to the whole concept of Scooby-Doo.
I always like to research who are the voices behind the scenes because I am usually pleasantly surprised. The star power is always top notch and this film is no exception. Zac Efron, Gina Rodriguez, Mark Wahlberg, and Tracy Morgan are just a few names that made this latest addition of Scooby-Doo possible.
The graphics are great and the predictable storyline is why you should watch Scoob! if you are a Scooby-Doo fan.
