Wildflowers Childcare
An individual at Wildflowers Childcare has tested positive for COVID-19.
On April 11, the case was reported through a memo to staff from the Municipality of Jasper’s chief administrative officer Bill Given.
“The Daycare program remains open and children in the other cohort are not considered to be at risk in relation to this case,” Given wrote.
“Safety, as always, is our first priority, and we continue to work with Alberta Health Services to ensure all necessary precautions and notifications are in place.”
Given said notifications to families in this program have been sent out and anyone deemed as a close contact has been notified.
Any staff members who were deemed a close contact of the positive case are isolating and will get tested.
The municipality did not disclose any personal details about the case as per Alberta Health Services guidelines.
Wildflowers Childcare is a non-profit program administered and subsidized by the Municipality of Jasper.
