Colten Thomas continued his successful season at the Region B swimming championship by winning the gold medal in the 50-metre back stroke and silver in the 100m freestyle, Aug. 12-13.
Emerson Gibbons also did Jasper proud by winning silver in the 25m short breast stroke earning him a spot at the Alberta Summer Swimming Association Provincial Swimming Championship next weekend.
Both swimmers will represent their region in Edmonton on Aug. 18-20 at the Kinsmen Sports Centre.
Sisters Isabelle, Emma and Rebecca Glover, as well as sisters Sophia and Lily Mastrianni all achieved third place finishes, while Isabella Heinemann earned a personal best.
