Four members of staff in quarantine at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge have tested negative for COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
Based on recent travel history and as a precautionary measure, the four employees went into voluntary self-isolation and were tested for coronavirus by Alberta Health Services on March 6.
Alberta Health Services tested more than 1,000 people over the weekend and the Fairmont confirmed today (March 10) that all four employees tested negative for COVID-19.
"Our first priority is, and will always be, the safety and wellbeing of our employees and guests," said Lynn Henderson, regional director of public relations.
"We will continue to be vigilant in our efforts to maintain a safe, healthy environment for all who visit."
