
Two men held up a 7-11 at gunpoint in Hinton May 10.
They entered the store on Swanson Avenue in the early morning hours brandishing what appeared to be a handgun and a machete.
Hinton RCMP said they attempted to rob the store but didn’t indicate if anything was taken. They hope the public can help find the suspects based on these descriptions:
- Male #1 - Caucasion male, approximately 5'10", wearing dark clothing and a facial covering. The male produced a handgun.
- Male #2 - Approximately 5'11", wearing a trench coat, dark clothing, a dark hat and black and yellow gloves. The male carried a large machete.

Any information that could identify these males would be appreciated, according to Cpl. Marcia McDermott.
