
Update, July 31: This active case of COVID-19 has now been removed from Alberta Health's statistics map.
An Alberta Health spokesman said: "Changes in the map can occur when a probable case is confirmed to be negative, or new information is obtained about a patient’s home address."

There is now one active case of COVID-19 in Jasper, according to Alberta Health's latest numbers, released July 30.
Jasper had previously seen eight active cases of the virus, with the last recovery reported May 16.
Alberta Health does not provide any information about patients, including if the case is travel-related, related to a known transmission or unknown, for confidentiality reasons.
The new case in Jasper is one of 113 additional cases identified in Alberta the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of active cases in the province to 1,408.
This week also saw Hinton record four cases of COVID-19 and Banff sits at four active cases.
To date, 1,585 of the province's 10,700+ cases have an unknown exposure.
A total of 9,113 Albertans have recovered from the virus and 195 have died: 114 in the Calgary zone, 47 in the Edmonton zone, 17 in the North zone, 16 in the South zone, and one in the Central zone.
Asymptomatic testing has been expanded to pharmacies across Alberta, including at Pharmasave in Jasper. People with no symptoms and no known exposure to COVID-19 are encouraged to get tested there. You can book an appointment by calling (780) 852-5903.
You should get tested if you have any COVID-19 symptom.
If you have any these symptoms you are legally required to isolate for at least 10 days from the start of your symptoms or until they resolve, whichever is longer:
- Fever
- Cough (new cough or worsening chronic cough)
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing (new or worsening)
- Runny nose
- Sore throat
If you have any of these other symptoms, stay home and minimize your contact with others until your symptoms resolve:
- Chills
- Painful swallowing
- Stuffy nose
- Headache
- Muscle or joint aches
- Feeling unwell, fatigue or severe exhaustion
- Gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or unexplained loss of appetite)
- Loss of sense of smell or taste
- Conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye
