"We are very pleased and tremendously proud to announce that we have discovered the first example of one of the Arrow models," John Burzynski, Raise the Arrow expedition leader and CEO of Osisko Mining, said in a press release.

The models were part of the design test program for the Avro Arrow at Point Petre in the mid-1950's, and were an important step in the final design work for the Arrow. The work continues and we hope to make additional discoveries as the survey progresses."

OEX Recovery Group (OEX) began the search near Point Petre, Ontario in late July.
