Tom McMillan, assistant director of communications for Alberta Health, said in an email: "We cannot speak to any specific case due to patient confidentiality.
"Changes in the map can occur when a probable case is confirmed to be negative, or new information is obtained about a patient’s home address. The map reflects the most current information available at any given time."
Alberta Health says cases without a postal code or incorrect postal codes are not included in the statistic map - and location information is missing or invalid for 45 of the province's cases.
The July 31 update shows four more recoveries in Banff, resulting in the town now having zero active cases. Hinton has four active cases, which were identified earlier this week.
There are currently 1,386 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta, down from 1,416 on July 30. Eighty-six people are hospitalized, 17 of whom are in intensive care, and a total of 196 people have died in the province from the virus.
