Grande Cache RCMP looking for arson suspect

Police says the suspect or suspects went to the front of a residence and set alight two boxes that were on the front deck leaning against a wall.

GRANDE CACHE – Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect or suspect in an arson incident that occurred last week.

On Wednesday (June 4), RCMP received a report of an arson after an unknown individual or individuals gained access to a residential property in the Phase 6 area in southwest Grande Cache by breaching the back fence.

From there, the suspect(s) went to the front of the residence and set alight two boxes that were on the front deck leaning against a wall.

The family was home at the time of the incident, but no injuries were reported.

Police are asking anyone with information, security camera footage or who may have witnessed suspicious activity to contact the Grande Cache RCMP detachment at 780-827-2222 or use the Alberta RCMP app.
