TWO HILLS – A 40-year-old man from Two Hills, who is facing sexual interference charges related to a case involving two youth from the Two Hills area in May, is now facing additional charges.
Two Hills RCMP received a complaint from an individual on July 23, accusing the man of threatening to kill her. Police arrested him and charged him with sexual interference, sexual assault, uttering threats, luring a child, invitation to sexual touching, and sexual exploitation.
He was remanded to police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on July 31, in relation to the new charges.
“This is not the first time that accusations have been brought forth against this individual,” said Sgt. David Henry, detachment commander at the Two Hills RCMP, in a July 29 media release from RCMP.
“With this in mind, should there be more victims out there, no matter how long ago the crime was, we ask that you please come forth and talk to us," said Henry. "We can help you should you wish to make a formal complaint, or if you want access to victim services or any other assistance we can provide. We just want victims to know that we are here, should they need us”.
Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to reach out to the Two Hills RCMP at 780-657-2820.
