WESTLOCK- The Hidden Valley Golf Course is burning with a call out for help on Facebook at 7:10 p.m. The fire was out of control, heading along the creek towards the French Creek RV campground.
There were three helicopters in the area with two dumping water from the Pembina River on the flames.
A large water bomber plane dropped red chemical along the fire path.
Several emergency vehicles could be seen at the site.
The Hidden Valley Golf Course is located between Fawcett and Jarvie north of Westlock along Highway 44.
Westlock County Fire Services asked the public to avoid the area while they work to contain the fire.
