The Jasper Curling Club held its annual men’s bonspiel last weekend and coming out on top was a team from Calgary.
Making up team Heikkinen rink is Skip Wayne Heikkinen, Third Chris Heikkinen, Second Corey Van Engelen and Lead Matthew Heikkinen.
Six teams participated in this year’s event, with a full round robin spiel. The top two teams headed to the finals on Sunday for a skins format game.
In the finals, the Heikkinen rink faced Jasper’s Scott rink, which has made it to the finals two years in a row.
Congratulations to the Heikkinen rink. We hope to see all the teams back again next year for a bigger and better bonspiel.
