The event was a competition between four hair salons, each of which had the task of turning their contestant into the most believable queen.
Ultimately, after a few talent competitions and the lip sync routines, Jeff Smith, more commonly known as Smitty, came out on top as the ultimate diva. His hair salon was Bloom Hair and Body Studio.
Once all the of the makeup was washed from his face and the pantyhose were removed from his legs, Smith said his success had less to do with him than it did Mychol Ormandy, who styled him up and taught him how to walk like a lady.
Ormandy is the manager of Bloom and the coordinator for Out Jasper. As well as styling Smith Friday night, Ormandy—as his alter ego Toni Lester Van Blam—was also the emcee and a performer.
