Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra is the Jasper Folk Music Festival's Friday night headliner.
Organizers announced the news June 15, along with 90 per cent of the other performers for the Sept. 11-13 festival.
Red Haven, Sam Spades and a Battle Royale winner are also scheduled to perform on the opening night, with one more artist still to be announced.
On Saturday, Doug McNarney, Joal Kamps, The Whisky Jerks, Matt Patershuk, Birds Of Bellwoods, The Wardens, The Pick Brothers Band and Samson's Delilah are set to play.
Saturday's headliner is still to be announced.
This year organizers are working with a $20,000 budget, $10,000 less than last year.
“If there's one thing I'd like to see, I'd like to see more faces out there,” said Matt Cushing, music coordinator for the festival.
