A transport truck hauling a flatbed trailer flipped on Highway 16 Aug. 12, at about 2:15 a.m.
The accident happened just west of Jasper. The semi was the only vehicle involved.
According to Jessica Roy of the Jasper RCMP, the truck driver rolled the truck into the ditch after he swerved to avoid hitting an animal on the road.
The driver, a 37-year-old Ontario man, was treated at the Seton Healthcare Centre, but was later released as his injuries weren’t life threatening.
