Students from Jasper Elementary School enjoyed gymnastics lessons this month, learning to jump, climb, roll, bounce and balance as part of a school-wide gymnastics program sponsored by Randal Glover Professional Corporation.
Each student was able to participate in two 30-minute gymnastics lessons with the club’s coach, Lonni Gamble, who taught them to use the vault, a small trampoline and the bars, as well as how to do some tumbling, including somersaults—both frontwards and backwards.
