With spit-shined belt buckles and scuffed up boots, some of the world’s top cowboys and girls moseyed into Jasper last week to compete in the 88th annual Jasper Heritage Rodeo.
The four-day professional rodeo event had athletes competing in everything from barrel racing to steer wrestling, calf roping and bull riding, exciting crowds of enthusiastic fans each night.
The action-packed week began Wednesday morning with a stick pony parade and carried on through to Saturday night when Blake Berglund took the stage in the curling rink for the annual barn dance.
