Students from Jasper Elementary School and École Desrochers were recognized for their artwork at the Royal Canadian Legion May 27. The posters were part of a nation-wide contest organized by the Legion to promote Remembrance Day and Canada’s military heritage. Every student was handed a certificate and prize money, with Pascale Robinson taking the top prize, earning $125 and a chance to compete provincially.
