Proud parents, grandparents, siblings, friends and community members flocked to the multipurpose hall, Dec. 14, for the Jasper Dance Program’s annual Christmas recital.
The performance began with a shimmy and shake by the program’s youngest dancers, who showed off their best moves to The Jungle Book’s “Bare Necessities.”
The evening of dance carried on with more than a dozen other numbers, ranging from hip hop routines to a musical theatre performance to “Summer Nights,” a song made famous by the movie Grease.
The recital marks the end of the dance program’s 14th year. Classes resume on Jan. 7.
