Jasper’s youngest batch of graduates donned construction paper mortarboards, June 5, in celebration of their first big achievement: the completion of Kindergarten.
With their proud parents gathered around, the students paraded into the Jasper Elementary School gym and sang songs with choreographed hand gestures and a few unplanned dance moves.
Each of the 42 students then received their very own scroll, marking the successful completion of their first year of school.
The class will now move onto Grade 1 in the fall.
