He started as a freelancer in 2004, and quickly became the outdoor adventure editor at Vue Weekly in Edmonton. During the five years he spent there, he also co-managed a successful communications consultancy, in which he assisted in developing strategy for clients including Government of Alberta ministries and national non-profit agencies. This eventually led him into media relations with Tourism Jasper, where he served briefly as the liaison to both regional and international media.

Most recently, Jeremy has been rounding out his media background with sales and marketing experience with companies including Seekers Media and Mountain Galleries. His work is still published occasionally in titles such as Canadian Geographic, The Globe and Mail, Avenue, and The Ski Journal.

Jeremy and his wife Heather are residents of Jasper and they have three children: Aidan (6), Sierra (3 1/2) and Bennett (3 months).
