Jasper Elementary School students practiced jumping, climbing and balancing during the first two weeks of May, as part of a school-wide gymnastics program, sponsored by Randal Glover Professional Corporation. Each student was able to participate in two 30-minute gymnastics lessons with coach Lonni Gamble, who taught them to use the vault, a small trampoline and the bars, as well as how to do some tumbling, including somersaults—both frontwards and backwards.
