Dozens of children descended on Lions Park to partake in the club’s second annual Easter egg hunt, March 27.

Under sunny skies and brisk temperatures, children could hardly wait to be let loose to scoop up 600 plastic eggs that were scattered about.

After learning a few lessons from last year, organizers decided to give the youngest kids a head start and even cordoned off an area for them. To make it fair, organizers also decided to hand out goodie bags so everybody got something.

Following the Easter egg hunt—which took less than 10 minutes—kids hit the playground while parents mingled.

The Lion’s Club is always looking for new members and encourages anyone who’s interested to contact Dave Nielson at 780-852-7273 or Soto Korogonas at 780-852-8844.
