Nearly 100 of Jasper’s most fashionable bohemian divas gathered together at the sold out Spring Fever Ladies Gala, May 9, to raise funds for two local causes.
The seventh annual gala, at the Crimson Jasper, was organized by HIV West Yellowhead and the Cancer Action and Support Group. The two organizations have partnered since the beginning, each year using the gala as a major fundraiser for their causes.
To raise funds, the organizations sell tickets and host a huge silent auction, this year with countless handmade items from talented artisans in the community.
It’s not yet known how much the event raised, but between the sold out crowd and the packed silent auction tables, there’s no doubt it was a success.
