The Jasper Arena was flooded with female hockey players last weekend, as the Jasper Midget Grizzlies hosted a tournament that attracted five teams from around the region.
For Jasper’s hometown Grizzlies, it was a tough weekend. Despite playing some hard-fought hockey, the team struggled to get ahead, losing to Prince Albert 9–1, Leduc 6–0 and, in Sunday morning’s C Final, to St. Albert 8–1.
