Although there isn’t a score at the end of the game, that doesn’t stop Jasper’s littlest skaters from putting their hearts on the ice during the annual initiation tournament.
Most wheeled and dealed—while a select few glided around, oblivious to the game taking place around them—and it was all in the spirit of getting a feel for the game of hockey. Jasper had enough players to fill out two rosters, so over the course of the weekend local skaters were on the ice for eight separate games.
For their efforts each game, players were awarded with heart and hustle medals.
