Jasper’s biggest hitters filled the ball field, Aug. 10, for the softball league’s annual Home Run Derby.
Taking the title as the league’s biggest hitter was Alex Derksen, who was hittin’ ‘em outta the park all night long. Pulling up the rear was Eric Graham and John Pelosi, who won their spots in second and third, respectively, after a sudden death swing off.
About a dozen batters competed, all vying for the $120 grand prize.
