Two Jasperites are facing drug charges, after the Jasper RCMP conducted a search warrant at a local residence that turned up GHB, MDMA, marijuana and psilocybin (magic mushrooms).
While executing the search warrant, April 4, the RCMP seized approximately 850ml of GHB, 44 grams of psilocybin, 24 grams of MDMA and 1.5 pounds of marijuana, as well as cellphones, scales and other evidence of drug trafficking.
Thomas Donald Featherstone, 33, and Amanda Rae Levere, 24, were arrested at the time of the search and each charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime.
Featherstone and Levere are scheduled to appear in Jasper Provincial Court April 23.
