A Jasper man was charged with hunting without a license and unlawful possession of wildlife, Dec. 8, after Alberta Fish and Wildlife officers, along with Parks Canada wardens, executed a search warrant on his Patricia Street home.

Scott Babcox is now awaiting trial on the charges.

Robert Johnson, who was in an adjacent home, Dec. 8, watched as a Parks truck was filled up with a “huge haul of antlers” and estimated there were 40 to 50 racks in total.

The investigation is ongoing.
