The Jasper Gymnastics club once again raked in the medals and ribbons at the Summit Invitational 2011 meet in Canmore on May 6 to 8. 

Head coach Nadia Wassef said this was the first competition for many of the girls. Some of the more advanced athletes bumped up a level for their competitions to prepare for next season, and brought home a number of medals. 

The Summit Invitational was the second last competition of the year for the girls. They will finish up with their last show on June 2 to 5 in Kelowna, before returning home to Jasper for a year-end wrap-up show on June 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jasper Gymnastics Club space at the activity centre. 

Wassef said she’s very proud of her athletes for their many medal-winning performances throughout the year.
