Last year Jasperite Vicki Garford participated in Wipeout Canada, the hilarious game show that has contestants try to tackle a difficult mud-soaked obstacle course.
To celebrate the episode that is airing on June 19, Garford and her supporters will be gathering at the De’d Dog to raise money for the MS society and view the episode. The evening will start off at 7 p.m., when scenes from another Jasperite’s Wipeout episode will be aired. Drew Pearson also got a chance to try the course in an attempt to win the prize. His episode aired earlier this month.
Garford said she is still trying to finalize the venue, as her son will be unable to attend the event at the bar. The event has a Facebook group, which can be found by searching “Vicki Garford’s ‘WIPE OUT CANADA’ debut.”
Any changes to the venue will be posted on that site. For those unable to make the event, the show will air on TVtropolis at 9 p.m. on June 19. |
