Ho ho ho, Santa Claus is waiting for your letters

The postal elves are doing their finger crunches, getting ready to write back to all the children who write Santa this Christmas season.

Each year, children from around the globe send about a million letters up to the north pole, said Teresa Williams, spokesperson for Canada Post. Santa and his postal elves are quite the multilingual bunch. “Whether it’s Chinese, Hungarian... even braille... for children with visual impairments,” Santa will write back.

Be sure to address the envelope correctly, since it will be traveling to the north pole, along with a stamp and the return address, “even though Santa knows where the children live,” said Williams.

Santa has been receiving letters in this way for almost 30 years and now you can even email him if you can’t make it to the post office.
